Spadina is one of the most interesting stations on the TTC's rapid transit network, with the Line 1 and Line 2 platforms located 150 metres apart and sporting entirely different styles. The Line 1 platform, which opened to the public in 1978, features a design typical of the era it was built, featuring walls finished in round earth-toned tiles. In today's Photo of the Day, which was submitted to the UrbanToronto Flickr Pool by Peter Crock, we are shown the contrast between the a red bench and the Line 1 platform's unique tile finish.
